AspenGrove Check-In

Good morning to all inspectors,

The process for completing inspections in the field continues to advance. The AspenGrove number that you are assigned is for you and you alone. Do not share your number with any other inspector. If you use subs, then you must have an AspenGrove number for each inspector that is connected to the network of the inspection company that you are representing at the property. The technology is smart enough to know that you cannot be 2 or 3 places at one time or run more inspections than one person can humanly run in a day.

We are constantly being audited by the clients for compliance for AspenGrove check ins. It is mandatory that you complete all inspections for PNA on your mobile device that is connected to the internet and GPS locater is turned on. You must complete the form at the property including the Point of Service questions listed at the bottom of the form. Once you complete the form and take your photos at the subject property and save, then the check in process will complete itself. The app will send your info to AspenGrove, and AspenGrove will send your AspenGrove number and GPS location to the lender verifying that you are ok to be at the lender’s property. If all of these stars do not align, then the inspection kicks out as out of compliance.

On another note, they are also auditing if the inspections are completed in accordance with the inspection type and instructions. If an inspection is ordered as an interior inspection, then the client thinks that the property has been secured (lock changed). If a property is vacant and an interior inspection has been ordered, then they expect the interior to be completed. If for any reason, you cannot complete an inspection as ordered, PNA policy is for you to call the account manager from the property. If you do not call PNA from the property, and the client sends the inspection back, then you will be expected to correct the inspection within 24 hours, and you will not be paid.

Due dates: All inspections must be completed by the due date. If you cannot complete an inspection by the due date, please call the account manager. Our clients have started a chargeback program for Loss Drafts for incomplete results, missing signature sheets, results not submitted the day of completion, missing photos for complete work and incomplete work listed on the scope. If you have any questions or concerns about loss draft inspections, you need to contact the account manager immediately.

I know this was a lengthy email, but these are real issues that need to be addressed immediately. If you feel that you cannot comply with any of these procedures, please give me a call and we will discuss.

I appreciate the job that each of you do. We are considered to be one of the best inspection companies in the industry, so we need to continue to grow and maintain compliance.

Thanks,

Dwain
